Neil B. McKeown: Brief biography

I was appointed as a lecturer in the Department of Chemistry in October 1991 after returning from four years as a post-doctoral fellow in Canada at York University, Toronto (with Prof. Cliff Leznoff) and then at The University of Toronto (with Prof. Mike Thompson). Previously, I was at the University of East Anglia where I did both my PhD (1987, with Prof. Mike Cook) and BSc (1984, Chemistry in the USA). Recently, I was awarded a Leverhulme Research Fellowship and selected by the International Committee for Phthalocyanines and Porphyrins (ICPP) for the first 'Young Investigator Award'.
